This is a one-of-a-kind piece, showcasing vibraphone and voice, accompanied by the world’s greatest drummer: Antonio Sanchez.
Drawing inspiration from the NYC multicultural scene, the piece combines musical styles that - although appearing far apart - are deeply connected.
The mastery of Antonio Sanchez shines throughout the piece, driving it to its climax. Thana Alexa's ethereal voice and skillful execution of the Indian Konnakol, organically blend with the sound of the vibraphone and electronics, creating a unique musical experience.
